Texas Auto Parts (TAP) guarantee that all parts are serviceable and functional. If a part(s) is found to be defective within 30 Days of the invoice date TAP will at their discretion provide either a replacement part or store credit. NO REFUNDS! Parts which are not defective or returned with missing items will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. All returned parts Must Be returned with the original receipt and have the Texas Auto Parts Store warranty marks intact.
The warranty shall be Void if the parts are Not returned in the same condition in which they were sold. TAP shall Not be responsible for any parts which have been altered, modified, disassembled, or damaged by misuse or accident subsequent to purchase. No warranty on specially ordered items.
Seller is Not responsible or liable for any incidental or consequential loss or damages. Seller is Not responsible if a customer orders the wrong part.
No Warranties on Parts external to the Cylinder Block Such as Belt Tensioner Pulley, Distributor, Alternator, Stater, Timing Belt, Throttle Body, Sensors, Wiring harness, Injectors, Harmonic Balancer, seals, gaskets, Water Pump & Oil Pans. No Warranty Parts external to the Transmission such as Safety Neutral Switch & Speed Sensors.
No Warranty or reimbursements will be given for delay, labor, mileage or any other costs in installing or reinstalling a part under any circumstances.
All Sheet metal, Glass and Body Parts are Sold “As Is.”
Special orders are Non-Refundable. A 50% deposit will be needed to be paid in advance before items are ordered from other sources. These special-order deposits are Non-Refundable.
Seller is not responsible for delays in delivery or freight shipments. Freight delivery is beyond sellers’ control. All Delivery fees (If applied) are Non-Refundable.
Texas Auto Parts are guaranteed not to have a cracked block, head or bad crankshaft, rod knock, & excessive smoking Only. Overheating voids all warranty. A/C Compressor, Power Steering Pump, Alternator, Starter Are all Sold Separately. It is also recommended that the buyer replaces the rear main seal, inspect gaskets, and replace timing chain or belt if applicable, prior to installation.
It is recommended that the buyer replace the front seal prior to installing the transmission. Improper detent adjustment, low fluid level, failure to install new filter, broken front pump, or improper installation voids the warranty. No exceptions!!!
If the vehicle is equipped with a transmission cooler, the system must be flushed and cleaned prior to installation or the warranty is Voided. The installer must use manufacturer recommended fluid in the transmission. If a low grade or mineral based fluid is used instead, and the transmission develops a problem, TAP will NOT replace the transmission under Warranty and Void our Warranty instead.
Texas Auto Parts makes No representations or warrantees as to the usability of any tires sold. Sales of Wheels and Tires is “As Is” and Final.
No warranty on electrical parts (Including Radios). Electrical parts are sold “As Is” and Final. No Refunds!
